Our Story
A Family Passion for Exceptional Labradors
At R&J Labradors of Arizona, our passion for dogs and responsible breeding began in 2009. Over the past five years, we've focused our breeding program on Labrador Retrievers, combining our years of experience with a dedication to producing beautiful, versatile Labradors with exceptional temperaments and distinguished bloodlines.
As a small, family-operated breeder, we believe in quality over quantity, intentionally raising just one litter per year. This allows us to provide each puppy with individual attention, early socialization, and a loving home environment.
Our goal is to raise well-rounded Labradors that are equally happy enjoying outdoor adventures or relaxing at home with their families.
Why Choose R&J
Bred for Health, Temperament & Beauty
Extensively Health Tested
Our breeding dogs undergo OFA and/or PennHIP evaluations for hip health, OFA elbow screening, and DNA testing for known Labrador genetic conditions — giving every puppy the healthiest possible foundation.
AKC Registered
Our Labradors come from distinguished pedigrees featuring AKC Champions and Grand Champions. We take pride in our dogs' ancestry and make their certified pedigrees available for prospective families to review.
Home Raised
Our puppies are born and raised in our home, surrounded by everyday family life. With just one carefully planned litter each year, we're able to provide individual attention, early socialization, and a loving environment.
